SEWA regularly conducts, tree plantation programmes in association with Local councils, corporates and other organisations.

In 2003, tree plantation programme was organised in association with ‘ALCOA ARP’ - Yennora, ‘Fairfield Council’ and ‘Keep Australia Beautiful’ in Yennora.

About 168 volunteers, consisting of children, senior citizens, took part in the programme and about 590 saplings were planted on that day.

In 2002, a similar event was organised in rural NSW at Cessnock where a large group of children participated in the event.
